Overview
Alhamra Tower and Mall surprised everyone when it bagged the prestigious 'Best Inventions of 2011' awarded by TIME magazine. Sooner, gates were opened to the public to enter this wonderworld building. Until today, It holds another record as the world's tallest carved building. Standing tall at the height of 1,358 ft, it also ranks among the world’s top fifteen tallest buildings.

In addition to it, Alhamra Tower is also known to be Middle East’s second tallest skyscraper after Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.

It is indeed brilliantly engineered by the architectural firms, Skidmore, Owings, Merrill, and Ramshir and Callison. The Jura limestone and wrapped glass facades on all four sides of the building are to minimize the heating effects. Also, enjoy spectacular views of the city through the glass-covered windows. Other than a massive shopping mall, you’ll find offices, health club, theatres, and a food court with popular retail chains. It is estimated that over 180 Million Kuwaiti Dinar (60 Million US dollars) is spent on the building’s construction.
