The traffic fines range in severity, going up to KD 500 and a jail sentence of up to one year.

Driving a vehicle or motorbike without a driving license or permit: Fine of not more than KD 100, 3 months imprisonment, 3 black points
Careless, neglectful, and unsteady driving that exposes the driver and others to danger: Fine of not more than KD 100, 3 months imprisonment, 4 black points
Repairing a vehicle with damages caused by an accident, without permission from authorities: Fine of not more than KD 100, 3 months imprisonment, 3 black points
Driving a vehicle without a license plate, metal plates, with a fake or altered license plate: Fine of not more than KD 100, 3 months imprisonment, 3 black points
Giving false information to get a driver's license, permit to drive, or to obtain a reissued license: Fine of not more than KD 100, 3 months imprisonment, 3 black points
Passing the red light signal: Fine of not more than KD 300, 3 months imprisonment, 4 black points
Damaging public or personal property with your vehicle: Fine of not more than KD 75 and 1 month imprisonment
Disrupting traffic movement: Fine of not more than KD 75 and 1 month imprisonment
Driving a vehicle with unfit or broken brakes: Fine of not more than KD 75 and 1 month imprisonment
Allowing someone without a driver's license or permit to drive your vehicle: Fine of not more than KD 75 and 1 month imprisonment
